Cold Rolled Annealed Spring Steel

Fine grain, fully spheroidized steel with low Rockwell hardness. Ease of forming and heat treating makes annealed high carbon spring steel suitable for a wide variety of applications. Where strength, spring requirements, high fatigue or wear properties are specified, along with rather severe forming, annealed spring steel should be your choice. Some applications are automotive parts, knives, small files, mechanical springs, scrapers, clips of all sorts, machine parts, gun parts, or anything requiring the properties of high carbon.

This stock sheet lists the thickness of our material in cold rolled annealed C1070, tempered C1075, and blue polished C1095 that we stock. We can also supply the C1095 thickness in scaless tempered, if you prefer. Our capabilities include edging and cutting to your specifications if coil shipments are a problem. Shipment of a sample to eliminate the possibility of any error on our part is never a problem if you allow us one or two days.
